The Challenge
Mark a 19,500 m² cross-dock warehouse at Jeddah Islamic Port operating 24/7 with forklift traffic, racking aisles, customs-bonded zones and chilled annex. The facility required full HSE compliance per Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) standards, without interrupting cargo receipt.
Our Solution
Specified a two-component polyurea line system with antimicrobial variant in the chilled annex, applied over shot-blasted concrete profiled to CSP-3. Layout used green pedestrian walkways, amber forklift lanes, red customs-bonded zones, white pallet bays and yellow walkway chevrons — all ISO 7010 compliant.
Execution
Shot-blasted 19,500 m² with a ride-on blaster, primed, and applied polyurea lines via airless striper with hand-applied chevrons and pedestrian crossings. The warehouse was divided into 11 zones with each reopening within 2 hours of marking, allowing cargo handling to continue in adjacent zones throughout.
